Each product purchased is sold subject to its product description which sets out additional specific conditions related to that product including, without limitation, terms and conditions concerning estimated delivery times and after-sales service. We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. Payment

All prices are inclusive of VAT (where applicable) at the current rates and are correct at the time of entering the information onto the system. The total cost of your order is the price of the products ordered plus delivery charges as set out in the delivery section of this Website. Payment can be made by any of the methods specified in the payment section of this website and payment will be debited and cleared from your account upon order. Delivery

When will I get my furniture?

On the product page you will see whether the item is in stock, or if not you will see a delivery estimate, this is when the item will be delivered into our warehouse and once your whole order is in stock, our delivery team will contact you to arrange a delivery date.

Estimated delivery times once furniture is in stock:
North East, Yorkshire and East Midlands: USUALLY WITHIN 7 WORKING DAYS

Rest of Mainland UK: USUALLY WITHIN 7-10 WORKING DAYS

How will my item(s) be delivered?

At Barker and Stonehouse  Outlet we have our own delivery fleet of full time employees that have been trained to exacting standards to make sure that your own delivery day is pleasurable and stress free.
If you have provided your mobile number then we will send you an SMS the night before with a 2 hour window. Our drivers will also call 1 hour before arrival to make you aware they are on their way.
Furniture is placed in your chosen room and we remove all packaging.
Accessories and rugs are delivered via Parcelforce, please note that a signature is required.
Alternatively you can collect the goods from our showroom or warehouse depending on stock location.

What if the furniture doesn't fit on delivery?

It is your responsibility to advise us at the time of ordering your furniture of difficulties that may be encountered when delivering to your property ensuring this information is documented in the comments box when ordering. Safe access to the room of choice must also be considered ensuring the route is clear.
Any costs incurred affecting delivery will not be the responsibility of Barker & Stonehouse i.e. door or window removal etc. Barker & Stonehouse are only responsible for delivery to your front door.

What if it has been longer than the estimated delivery time?

We would like to apologise, all delivery times given by us are approximate. We always give delivery times in good faith but cannot be held responsible for any direct or indirect loss due to any reasonable delay or delays due to unforeseen circumstances outside of our reasonable control.

Do you deliver outside of the UK?

We don't, but we can deliver to any UK mainland shipping port for £49 but you must arrange your own shipping.

Returns

What if I wish to cancel my order before delivery?

In Stock Orders:

If, after having placed your order for goods that are in stock and you have not viewed the product in our showroom and then have a change of heart for whatever reason, you may cancel your order at any time prior to delivery. All you need to do is advise us by emailing us at webenquiries@barkerandstonehouse.co.uk otherwise it is at the discretion of Barker & Stonehouse Outlet.

Special Orders:

Cancellation for any items that are ordered upon your request, that show a delivery lead time (for example - Made for you in 9 weeks) are at the discretion of Barker and Stonehouse  Outlet and may incur any reasonable costs borne by the company. Any changes to specification of original orders must be notified in writing and are not guaranteed.

What if I wish to return my order?

Furniture bought from stock:

Under the Distance Selling Regulations, if you buy items from stock online or by phone and have not viewed the product in our showroom, your consumer rights entitle you to a full refund if you request one in writing within 7 working days after the day of receipt. This includes any delivery charge. If you require us to collect the goods we reserve the right to make a charge to cover collection costs.

Furniture ordered at your request:

For all specially ordered, made to measure or bespoke items (identified on the website or your email order confirmation as above - example being ‘Made for you in 9weeks’), goods cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty.

Accessories:

For small items (delivered by mail/courier), you (the customer) are responsible for the cost and safe return to Barker and Stonehouse Outlet. Where large products are returned unwanted and you require us to collect (if bought from stock and returned within 7 days as per the Distance Selling Regulations), we reserve the right to make a charge to cover the collection cost.
